Hajj diary- Day-4:

The first few days of our journey had been a series of tests and challenges, and just the sheer number of people made the initial experiences really difficult for us. However all of us managed to complete the first phase of Hajj which is the Umrah.
I have never before seen this number of people in my entire life! Everywhere you look there is a sea of people, and even more difficult is when you have to become a part of it, in order to end up doing something. The extreme summer heat adds to the overall challenges one faces as a Haji.
Everyday I have learnt something new, and that Hajj is not just a physical, but also an emotional test. Here you have to stay strong yourself, and have to take care of the rest, specially of the woman and elderly that are going alongwith you.
So far the journey has been difficult but at the same time it has been enlightening. We have prayed for everyone along this journey, and are asking for everyone to pray for us aswell, for the coming days to be easy for us! Allah bless all!
ہمارے سفر کے ابتدائی چند دن آزمائشوں اور چیلنجوں کا ایک سلسلہ تھے، اور صرف لوگوں کی بڑی تعداد نے ہمارے لیے ابتدائی تجربات کو واقعی مشکل بنا دیا۔ تاہم ہم سب حج کا پہلا مرحلہ مکمل کرنے میں کامیاب ہو گئے جو کہ عمرہ ہے۔
میں نے اپنی پوری زندگی میں لوگوں کی اتنی تعداد پہلے کبھی نہیں دیکھی! جہاں بھی آپ دیکھیں وہاں لوگوں کا سمندر ہے، اور اس سے بھی زیادہ مشکل تب ہوتی ہے جب آپ کو کچھ کرنے کے لیے اس کا حصہ بننا پڑتا ہے۔ موسم گرما کی شدید گرمی ایک حاجی کے طور پر درپیش مجموعی چیلنجوں میں اضافہ کرتی ہے۔
ہر روز میں نے کچھ نیا سیکھا ہے، اور وہ یہ کہ حج صرف جسمانی نہیں، بلکہ ایک جذباتی امتحان بھی ہے۔ یہاں آپ کو خود مضبوط رہنا ہے، اور باقی کا خیال رکھنا ہے، خاص طور پر ان خواتین اور بزرگوں کا جو آپ کے ساتھ جا رہے ہیں۔
اب تک کا سفر دشوار گزار رہا ہے لیکن ساتھ ہی یہ روشن بھی رہا ہے۔ ہم نے اس سفر میں سب کے لیے دعا کی ہے، اور ہر ایک سے درخواست ہے کہ وہ ہمارے لیے بھی دعا کریں، تاکہ آنے والے دن ہمارے لیے آسان ہوں!
