National Defense Day Celebration
Government Boys Degree College, Nawabshah observed National Defense Day on September 8, 2026, with a vibrant and solemn ceremony commemorating the sacrifices of national heroes.
Presiding Dignitary: Professor Muzammil Zahoor (Principal)
The program commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran, followed by Naat e Rasool then rendition of the national anthem, setting a deeply patriotic tone for the morning. Students delivered powerful and effective speeches highlighting the historical significance of the occasion and the unmatched valor shown by the armed forces in defense of the homeland. The speeches were followed by moving performances of national songs that resonated with the spirit of unity and devotion.
In his presidential address, Professor Muzammil Zahoor Principal Government Boys Degree College Nawabshah, delivered an inspiring concluding speech, urging students to embody the core values of unity, coherence, and discipline as they navigate their academic pursuits in the coming year.
The event concluded with a special distribution ceremony where participating student candidates received book gifts provided courtesy of the Ministry of Information, Government of Pakistan, encouraging a continued culture of reading and academic excellence alongside national duty.
