*Independence Day Ceremony Held to Promote Patriotism Among Youth*
Pakpattan: A prestigious Independence Day ceremony was organized by the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department in collaboration with Roshni Welfare Society, with the aim of promoting patriotism, national unity and a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.
More than 100 students, including boys and girls, along with representatives of civil society and the media, participated enthusiastically in the event.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Amir Hayat Bhandara as the Chief Guest. Deputy Director Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Madam Madiha Gilani, President Press Club Waqar Fareed Jugno, Assistant Director Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Shahid Hussain Sukhera, and President Roshni Welfare Society Mr. Aamir Latif also attended the ceremony as distinguished guests.
The speakers highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s independence and emphasized the vital role of young people in the development and progress of the country. They said that Pakistan is the result of the remarkable struggle and sacrifices of our forefathers, and it is the responsibility of the younger generation to contribute positively towards the country’s prosperity, stability and future.
Students expressed their love for Pakistan through speeches, national songs and other activities, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm.
As a gesture of appreciation and encouragement, Roshni Welfare Society presented a laptop to a student in recognition of his/her valuable services and contributions. The initiative was appreciated as a positive step towards encouraging students to pursue education, talent and constructive activities.
The active participation of students, civil society members and media representatives made the ceremony a meaningful celebration of Independence Day and reinforced the message that the youth are the driving force behind Pakistan’s brighter, stronger and more prosperous future.
