Buffalo Research Institute (BRI) Pattoki
Buffalo Research Institute (BRI) functioning since October, 2005, is exclusively mandated for research based development of buffalo. The institute has the infrastructure in the areas of breeding, genetics reproduction, Calf Raising Centre, buffalo diseases nutrition, buffalo diseases and training. The organization is closely collaborating with all Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Universities, Research Institutes, Remount Veterinary & Farms Cops (RVFC), Livestock and Dairy Development Board Inside the country and endeavoring to develop linkages with all the buffalo development organizations and Buffalo Breeder Association.
Objectives: Genetic development in buffalo through production of maximum number of proven bull and their wide scale use in breeding, Development and application of the latest reproductive technologies for enhancing reproductive efficiency in buffalo, Nutritional interventions for analysis of conventional and non-conventional feeds i.e proximate analysis, detergent analysis and mineral estimation, Training of farmers in buffalo management dairying and meat production.

FOCUSED AREAS: Provision of herd diagnostics facilities, Analysis of conventional and non-conventional feeds, Preservation and enriched of fodder crops (Silage/ Hay making etc.), Transfer of husbandry techniques to the buffalo farmers at their door steps.

بھینسوں کا تحقیقاتی ادارہ اکتوبر 2005سے خاص طور پر بھنسوں کی تحقیقاتی ترقی پر کام کر رہا ہے۔ اس ادارہ کا مقصد بھینسوں کی نسل میں پیداواری اضافہ کا بنیادی ڈھانچہ، عمل تولید کی بہتری، بچھڑوں کی پیداوار میں اضافہ کا سنٹر، بھینسوں میں غزائی بیماریوں کی تشخیص، بھینسوں کی وبائ سے تحفظ کے اقدامات اٹھانا ہے۔ یہ ادارہ ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز، یونیورسٹیوں، تحقیقی اداروں، رماؤنٹ ویٹینری اینڈ فامز کاپس، ملک کے اندر لائیو سٹاک اینڈ ڈیری ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ، تمام بفیلو ترقیاتی اداروں اور بھینس بریڈر ایسوسی ایشن کے ساتھ روابط قائم کرنے میں کوشاں ہے۔

۔ بھنسوں میں عمل تولید کو بڑھانے کے لئے جدیدٹیکنالوجی کا استعمال
۔ روایتی اور غیر روایتی فیڈز کے تجزیہ کے لئے غذائی عمل میں بہتری (مقرب تجزیہ، ڈٹرجنٹ تجزیہ اور نمکیاتی تخمینہ، بھینسوں کے دودھ اور گوشت میں پیدار میں اضافہ کے لئے کسانوں کی تربیت)۔
