Empowering Women Through Electoral Awareness

An interactive awareness session on the importance of women’s participation in the electoral process was held at GTVC Women Gulbahar by representatives of the Election Commission of Pakistan. The session focused on voter registration, transfer of vote, the voting process, and the significance of exercising the right to vote.

Students and staff members actively participated, asked insightful questions, and engaged in meaningful discussions, making the session informative and impactful.

Cleanliness Week 2026 | Day 2 – GTVC Women Gulbahar

As part of the ongoing Cleanliness Week (31 August – 6 September 2026), Day 2 activities focused on maintaining a clean, hygienic, and green institute environment.

The activities included proper collection and disposal of debris and waste, watering and care of plants, cleaning of surrounding areas, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the institute premises.

These activities were undertaken in line with the instructions regarding cleanliness, sanitation, proper waste disposal, and prevention of potential mosquito-breeding sites.

DAY01 | Cleanliness Week 2026 | GTVC Women Gulbahar

As part of the ongoing Cleanliness Week (31 August – 6 September 2026), GTVC Women Gulbahar is actively participating in the cleanliness campaign to promote a clean, healthy, and welcoming learning environment.

The institute premises, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas, were thoroughly cleaned. The garden/lawn was maintained, while debris and waste from across the premises were collected and properly disposed of at designated waste points.

These activities were undertaken in line with the instructions regarding cleanliness, sanitation, proper waste disposal, and prevention of potential mosquito-breeding sites.

Breastfeeding Awareness Session at GTVC Women Gulbahar 🩷

GTVC Women Gulbahar, Peshawar hosted an informative Breastfeeding Awareness Session on 15th August 2026 in collaboration with the Health Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, UNICEF Pakistan, and partner organizations as part of World Breastfeeding Month.

The session focused on the importance and health benefits of breastfeeding, maternal nutrition, nutritional deficiencies, and proper care of babies during their early stages of life. Students and teachers actively participated and gained valuable knowledge through the detailed guidance provided by the resource persons.

It was a highly productive and informative session that contributed to promoting awareness about maternal and child health and healthy practices for families and communities.

GTVC Women Gulbahar came together to celebrate 14th August with pride, patriotism, and heartfelt tribute to our beloved homeland. Students showcased their talent through Milli Naghma, tableau, and speech competitions, with outstanding performers receiving appreciation certificates to encourage their efforts.

We are grateful for the visionary leadership of our Administrator Madam Natasha, the dedicated efforts of Event Organizer Ms. Sumaira and the valuable support of Ms. Benazir and our male staff members in making this celebration meaningful and impactful.

Empowering women through financial knowledge! 💼📚

On 18 June 2026, GTVC Women Gulbahar Peshawar successfully organized a Financial Literacy, Financial Management & Entrepreneurship awareness session, conducted by representatives from HBL. The session was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our Administrator, Madam Natasha, in collaboration with our Focal Person for Students Placement & Master Trainer, Ms. Sumaira.

Students gained valuable insights into financial awareness, money management, entrepreneurship, and the funding opportunities offered by HBL. They also had the opportunity to open their HBL bank accounts on-site, taking an important step toward financial inclusion.

Empowering students with essential career development skills!

Our Internal Career Counselor and Job Placement Officer, Ms. Sumaira, conducted an informative CV Writing Session for the students of GTVC Women Gulbahar, Peshawar. During the session, students were guided in detail on how to create a professional CV for effective job hunting, including the key components of a CV, proper formatting, highlighting skills and achievements, and presenting their qualifications in a compelling manner.

Such initiatives play a vital role in preparing students for the competitive job market and enhancing their employability prospects.
