During the last E. Khuli Kachehri we received a complaint regarding minor settlement at certain reaches of the Dallon Road. Although the settlement was primarily caused by overloaded vehicles ,a fact that I explained during the Khuli Kachehri and the complainant accepted we still took immediate action.
Today, the affected portion has been excavated, and the relaying of asphalt has commenced to ensure the highest standards of quality and durability.
Many people consider Khuli Kachehris to be merely a cosmetic exercise, and such complaints are often ignored. However, we believe that every genuine public concern deserves attention. We remain fully committed to our responsibilities.
