Under the Government of Balochistan funded Resilience, Integration, Socio Economic Empowerment- RISE Programme, 72 young women from Kech, Gwadar and Panjgur have successfully completed professional Beautician & Cosmetology training at IRM Islamabad—turning learning into confidence, skills and new pathways to livelihood.

🎓 At the certification ceremony, Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani Provincial Minister for Education Department Government of Balochistan, along with Dr. Tahir Rasheed, CEO Balochistan Rural Support Programme, Ms. Shandana Humayun Khan, CEO Rural Support Programmes Network (RSPN) Pakistan and Dr. Roomi S. Hayat, CEO IRM, distributed certificates among the graduates.

Addressing the trainees, CEO BRSP assured them that the journey does not end with certification. BRSP will support graduates through post-training linkages, mentoring, market connections and, where applicable, financial support to help them establish or expand their own businesses.

With 450+ youth, including around 200 young women, currently enrolled in RISE training programmes, the programme is creating pathways from skills to livelihoods, and from opportunity to economic empowerment.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬

Under the Government of Balochistan funded Resilience, Integration, Socio Economic Empowerment- RISE Programme, beneficiaries of Income Generating Grants (IGGs) are being equipped with essential Basic Business Management and Financial Literacy skills at the grassroots level before launching their livelihood activities. A total of 𝟗𝟎𝟎 IGG beneficiaries have successfully completed the training so far, gaining practical knowledge in budgeting, savings, business planning, inventory management, pricing, and profit calculation.

These skills will help beneficiaries effectively establish and manage their micro-enterprises, make informed financial decisions, utilize grant support productively, and strengthen their household incomes, contributing to long-term poverty reduction across Balochistan.

These young women are receiving trainings at the IRM Training Institute under the Government of Balochistan's Resilience, Integration, Socio Economic Empowerment- RISE Programme. Through RISE, more than 4,000 young people will be supported with skills training aimed at improving employability, strengthening livelihoods, and connecting youth with opportunities in the evolving job market.

For these girls, training is more than learning a skill—it is about building confidence, gaining independence, and preparing for a brighter future. 🌟
