Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, HI (M), S Bt was commissioned in Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in 1992. He is graduate of Command and Staff College (Quetta), Command and General Staff College, German Federal Armed Forces and National
Defence University (Islamabad). He has a rich experience of command, staff and instructional assignments. He has

d an Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Battalion and Headquarters
Logistics of a Defensive Corps. His Staff assignments include Deputy Assistant Military Secretary at Military Secretary Branch, General Staff Officer (Grade-Il, Grade I) and Deputy Director at Military Operations Directorate, Inspector Electrical and Mechanical Engineers at
Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Directorate, Director Military Intelligence Plans at
Military Intelligence Directorate. On the instructional side, he has remained on the faculty of Command & Staff College
Quetta and College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers. Lieutenant General Ahmed
Sharif Chaudhry was Director General Defence Science & Technology Organization before
joining as Director General Inter Services Public Relations Directorate on 6 December 2022.
