A *Model United Nations Conference* was organized today, 04-09-2026, at Govt. Boys High School No. 1, Skardu, under the guidance and directives of the Assistant Commissioner, Skardu.
The program commenced punctually at Jinnah Auditorium. The *Honorable Principal, Mr. Zamin Ali*, received all the distinguished guests with zeal and warmth.
The session began with students representing delegates from various countries of the world. This academic activity was designed as an educational simulation of the United Nations.
The esteemed guests addressed the audience and highlighted the objectives of the simulation. They stated that the purpose of MUN is to develop global awareness, build confidence, and equip students with the skills to address international issues. Special emphasis was placed on developing students’ negotiation skills, communication skills, and understanding of diplomacy in the contemporary era.

Each student delegation comprised three members who represented the policies of different countries on key global issues, including *Iran-USA relations, the situation in Gaza, and broader Middle East issues* related to peace, security, and progress.
A significant part of the session was a mock voting process. During the voting, *five out of seven countries voted in favor of nominating Pakistan for the Peace Award 2026*.
At the conclusion of the session, certificates were distributed among the participating students, delegates, and organizers.
