Tariq Saleem Ansari is a dedicated public servant currently serving as Public Relation Officer and Head of Information Department at Town Municipal Corporation-I (TMC-I), Makki Shah Sukkur. He plays a vital role in public communication, transparency, and digital governance, actively managing official platforms to ensure awareness and engagement.
He has successfully developed a comprehensive official map of TMC-I Sukkur, covering all 11 Union Committees with clear identification of localities. This project, completed through consistent effort over approximately one year, is now displayed at the main office and serves as an important administrative and public reference.
Following the restructuring of Sukkur’s local government system, TMC-I has emerged as a key administrative unit. Despite limited resources, the town has demonstrated strong performance through effective management and strategic communication—an effort in which he plays a central role. He also acts as a bridge between citizens and authorities, highlighting genuine public issues and facilitating solutions.
During his pharmaceutical career, he contributed to key product initiatives, including early-stage prescription development and market introduction from Sukkur. His excellence also provided him opportunities for international exposure, including visits to Dubai, Thailand, and Turkey. He later joined the Sindh Local Government Department, where through dedication and hard work, he rose from Assistant to Office Superintendent and Council Officer (BPS-17).
Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s in Economics from Shah Abdul Latif University, reflecting strong analytical and academic grounding.
Beyond his official role, he is actively involved in social welfare activities, contributing through platforms like Lions Club and TSA (To Serve All), especially during emergencies and community support initiatives.
