*Under the supervision of Ma’am Sarah Ahmad, Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA), Punjab Director General CPWB Rao Nadeem Akhtar,* the Child Protection Unit DCPU Toba Tek Singh warmly welcome Ma’am Zahida Manzoor, Focal Person, (UNICEF).
In A progress review meeting The Incharge Case Worker presented a report about rescued children, rehabilitation cases, family reunifications, and ongoing support services. The team also discussed challenges like limited resources and increasing case numbers. The UNICEF representative encouraged the staff and assured continued support and guidance. The visit was very positive and motivating, and it strengthened the partnership between CPU Toba Tek Singh and UNICEF to ensure better protection and a safer future for children.

In line with this mission, today the Tahfuz Markaz team visited the Child Protection Unit (CPU) in *Toba Tek Singh* to review ongoing working strategies. This collaborative effort demonstrates mutual cooperation and strengthens the referral system, ensuring that children in need receive timely and effective assistance.

Under the visionary leadership of the *Chairperson of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) and Honorable Member of the Provincial Assembly, Madam Sarah Ahmad,* along with the *respected Director General of CPWB,* efforts continue for the uplift and protection of vulnerable children across Punjab.
To further this mission, *Child Protection Unit (CPU) Toba Tek Singh* conducted an awareness session in kamalia chichawatni road and camp site govt postgraduate college kmalia focused on the protection and welfare of children highly affected by recent floods. These children, having faced severe challenges during the disaster, require special care, protection, and access to essential services.
The session emphasized the importance of ensuring that these children receive the full range of support and services offered by CPU Toba Tek Singh, reinforcing the Bureau’s commitment to safeguarding every child’s rights and wellbeing—especially in times of crisis.

In line with this mission, the *Child Protection Unit (CPU) Toba Tek Singh* has taken a significant step today by rescuing a vulnerable baby girl and safely shifting her to a Child Protection Institution in Faisalabad.
This compassionate act not only reflects the commitment of CPWB to child welfare but also echoes the core teachings of our religion, Islam, which emphasizes kindness, care, and protection for children.

Pamphlets on child protection were distributed, and parents were guided on how to protect their own children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. These awareness efforts aim to strengthen community responsibility and promote a safer environment for every child.

In line with this mission, Today Mr. Shehzada Khurram, Deputy Director of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, conducted a surprise visit to the Child Protection Unit (CPU) in Toba Tek Singh . During his visit, he held a comprehensive meeting with the entire staff, reviewed the ongoing working processes, and inspected all unit to monitor their performance.
The visit also included in-depth discussions on future strategies to further enhance the services and support provided to children in need. The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau remains committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for every child in the province.

As per the direction of Honorable Chairperson of Child protection and Welfare Bureau/ Member of the Provincial Assembly, MADAM Sarha Ahmed,and Honorable Director General Aftab Ahemd Khan the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau is working effectively to safeguard children's rights. Today, CPU Toba Tak Singh attended a training session to further collaboration with the Pehnchan Organisation in DHQ This is a huge step forward in our mission to protect and Welfare of the vulnerable children and raise awareness amoung community for the protection of child.
