شیر میسور ٹیپو سلطان نے اقتدار سنبھال کر ابتداٸی احکامات دیے ان میں سے ایک درباروں گدیوں وغیرہ پر نذر و نیاز وصول کرنے پر پابندی عاٸد کرنے کا حکم بھی تھا ۔ گیدڑ کی سو سالہ زندگی سے شیر کی ایک دن کی زندگی اسلیے بھی بہتر ہوتی ہے کیونکہ ‏شیر نہ بیرونی امداد پر پلتا ہے نہ نذر و نیاز پر ۔ 4 مٸ 1799 سے آج تک ہم یا بیرونی امداد پر چل رہے ہیں یا نذر ونیاز پر ۔
