We witness that the war is fought not only with weapons but also with information. Effective propaganda for society is just as dangerous as poison. Below are some examples of how not to accidentally promote false information and properly reflect the nature of the situation.
Firstly . " Kiev" is standardised spelling when the city was under the rule of the Soviet Union! The Ukrainian government legally approved "Kyiv" in 1995. Spelling "Kyiv" matches more closely the actual ukrainian prononciation of the city's name!
“Ukraine has been an independent sovereign nation for more than 27 years, but the Soviet-era versions of many geographic names stubbornly persist in international practice. The usage of Soviet-era place names – rooted in the Russian language – is unacceptable to the people of Ukraine.”
Secondly, please let's not call it " Ukraine crisis", "Civil war" or "Ukraine Conflict". It's "Russia's war against Ukraine", "Russia's agression against Ukraine". Minimalization of the situation is part of a problem.
Ukraine is not part of Russia. It has seperate culture, language, history , teritory and country!
Ukrainians don't feel like Russians. They have their own national identity.
It's not only Ukrainian problem and it will not stop if Ukraine falls!
Many countires depend on Ukraine's food exports, for example Israel and Libya import 40% of their wheat from Ukraine.
Another thing is that Russia's leaders try re-establish control over former Soviet Union teritories.Ignoring their aggression will only open the door to new attacks and more innocent people will suffer.
Also don't believe that Russia is defending Donbas or that Ukraine in any way provoked this. Ukraine is a peaceful democratic country. They are defending their independence.
