🌿 Embrace the Wild: A Winter Solstice Foraging Escape
While the world is caught up in the seasonal frenzy of shopping lists and holiday planning, we invite you to pause, connect with nature, and celebrate the Winter Solstice (December 21st) in a truly unique way: by discovering the potential of wild, edible plants.
Do you think that weeds are just annoying plants that you have to pull out and throw away? It's time to rethink the potential of these plants! Yes, because from salads to main courses, edible wild plants are delicious! Find out how to identify them, where and when to find them and how to cook them.
This informative, fun, and beautiful walk through our Forest will show you how wild plants can have fantastic taste and very important medicinal properties. Learn to recognize the different plants used in infusions and other medicinal preparations.
This workshop, held on the shortest day of the year, offers a mindful, grounding antidote to the pre-Christmas stress.
After this foray into the forest led by Eduardo Marques, from the micro-scale agricultural project , the new urban or rural foragers, whenever they go for a walk, will start to see how much food is around them!
With rubber boots and a basket in hand, on December 21st, rain or shine, we'll all go in search of weeds! Take a deep breath, step away from the holiday stress, and join us for a genuine connection with nature on the Solstice.
