CAMINO DE SANTIAGO – DAY 07
We arrived. Or at least that's what the map says. The cathedral appeared. The square welcomed us.
The backpacks became lighter. The smiles became wider. And yet, everyone who has truly walked knows something important:

Santiago is not the end.
It is the beginning. The end is always the beginning of something new.

People often ask us what happens during a Walking Mentorship journey. And the truth is that it is almost impossible to explain.

We could talk about the kilometers.
The conversations. The mentoring.
The reflections. The exercises.

But none of those things explain it.
Because Walking Mentorship is not something you understand. It is something you feel.

You feel it in the silence between two strangers who become friends.
You feel it in the courage that appears when someone finally tells the truth. You feel it in the smile that returns after being absent for far too long. You feel it in the energy of a group that arrived carrying backpacks and leaves carrying possibilities.

For seven days we walked towards Santiago. Now each person walks towards their future.

Towards difficult conversations. Towards important decisions.
Towards long-postponed dreams.
Towards a life that hopefully feels a little more aligned with who they really are.

The Camino is complete. The real Walking Mentorship program starts now.

Thank you to every pilgrim who trusted the path. Thank you for your openness, your vulnerability, your courage, your laughter, and your willingness to keep walking even when the answers were not visible.

As we stood together beneath the towers of Santiago, one thing became clear. The destination was never Santiago. The destination was becoming the person who arrived there.

A special word to our "partners in crime" The Transformational Travel Council and specially the sparkling soul Jillian Dickens 🐢

In the meantime, let’s keep walking, changing the world one step at a time and one person at a time. www.walkingmentorship.com

DAY 06 - Today we left the Camino.
At least for a while. As we approached Santiago, we made the climb to Pico Sacro, one of the most mythical places in Galicia. For centuries, pilgrims have seen it from afar. They admire it. They photograph it. They talk about it.
Yet most never climb it. Why?

Because it requires leaving the Camino. A small deviation. A little extra effort. An uncertain reward.
And perhaps that is one of life's greatest lessons.

Many of us spend years following the established route. The expected route. The route that everyone else follows.

But some of the most meaningful experiences only become available when we are willing to step away from the path. The summit of Pico Sacro reminded us of that.

The climb was demanding. The views were magnificent. The conversations were profound.
And from the top, something became obvious.

The Camino was still there. Leaving it for a moment did not mean abandoning it. It simply allowed us to see it from a different perspective.

As Santiago draws closer, another realization emerges. Success is rarely about staying perfectly on course. More often, it is about having the courage to explore, to question, to wander, and then to return with greater clarity about who we are and where we are going.

Today we climbed a mountain.
But what we were really climbing was our own resistance to leaving the familiar. And once again, the reward was worth every step. The reward was every step.

Day 05. Somewhere along the path, we stopped trying to walk faster and started seeing deeper.

A small leaf resting in a hand became enough to hold attention. The rings of a fallen tree became a reminder that growth is invisible while it is happening.

The Walking Mentorship program does this quietly. It changes the scale of what matters.

A river becomes a place to write.
A pinecone becomes a symbol.
A shared path becomes a mirror.
And maybe that is the real pilgrimage.
To arrive again at the simple things we stopped noticing.

Today we spoke again with our future selves...but with the objective to bring our best ideas into the present day. And the answers were not loud. They came softly.

Protect this. Release that. Stop rushing.
Trust what is growing slowly.
Because the future version of ourselves
does not admire how exhausted we were.
It admires the moments when we finally became honest.

Even the fallen trees along the way
felt like teachers today, because not everything broken needs immediate fixing. Sometimes life blocks the path
only to force us into awareness.
And so we continue.

Step by step.
Conversation by conversation.
Breath by breath.

Less interested in becoming someone else. More committed to returning home to ourselves.

Somewhere between the forests, the old stones, the morning coffee, and the silence between footsteps, people began to remember who they are.

Not the titles. Not the noise. Not the endless performance of modern life. Just human beings, walking beneath trees older than their worries.

And then came the letter. A letter written from the future to the person walking today. Not from fantasy. Not from ambition. But from truth. And suddenly, clarity appeared.

Some realized what needed to be left behind. The weight. The masks.
The exhaustion of carrying lives that no longer fit.

Others saw what needed protection.
What deserved focus. What still carried beauty enough to fight for.

The future self became a perfect equalizer. Because in the end, the soul does not lie. It knows exactly where we abandoned ourselves. And it knows exactly the road back home.

One wrote quietly on a rock, another reflected beside an ancient church,
another opened a window and saw how wide the world still is.

And step by step, conversation by conversation, something softened.
This program does not rush transformation. It simply walks beside you until your soul can finally hear itself again.

Day 04. Still walking. Still becoming.

The human side of humanity.
One of the strongest messages from Day 03 of our Camino journey was written on a simple shell along the road: “You matter.” It sounds basic. But many people have forgotten this.

Modern work culture often conditions people to believe their worth is attached to output, visibility, achievement, or resilience. The consequence is predictable: burnout, disconnection, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion.

Walking together for multiple days creates a different environment.
People stop performing.
Conversations become real.
Vulnerability becomes acceptable.
Human beings become visible again.

What we continue to observe during our Walking Mentorship experiences is that sustainable lives begin with reconnection: with the body, with nature, with silence, with meaning and reconnecting with others.

Sometimes, growth begins with hearing a sentence you did not realize you needed: You matter.

Slowing down enough to feel again
Somewhere between the silence of the monastery, the cold river water, the flowers on the path, and the tiredness in our legs… something began to soften.

Day 02 on the Camino reminded us that transformation rarely happens in noise. It happens in pauses. In conversations without masks. In shared silence. In nature. In walking.

There is something deeply human about removing the layers of productivity and simply becoming present again. Today we walked.
We rested. We laughed. We reflected. We entered cold water.
We entered ourselves. And slowly, the Camino continues its work.

What does partnership really mean?
Have you ever stopped to think about it?
What is a partner?

Someone who walks with you.
Someone who stays beside you in the good days and in the difficult ones.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this over the last few days.

Whether you run your own business, are married, in a relationship, or simply sharing a dream with someone… partnership is one of the most powerful things in life.

This week, we are walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, side by side with a group of beautiful people but also with one of our most special partners: the Transformational Travel Council.

For years now, we have been walking together. Creating together. Learning together. And honestly, there’s something deeply beautiful about being able to look around and know you can trust the people walking beside you… and that they can trust you too. That kind of partnership is rare.
And valuable.

Here we are now, surrounded by beautiful oak forests, facing the many challenges the Camino always throws at us, starting with the weather. And even the weather becomes your partner.

Because the Camino amplifies your experience. It reveals you. It challenges you. It teaches you. And somehow, step by step, you keep walking forward.

That’s how true partnerships are built too. Not instantly. Not always easily.
But beautifully. So maybe today is a good day to reflect on the partnerships in your life.

Why do you have them?
What are you expecting from them?
Are you trying to receive… or are you also trying to give the very best of yourself?

Some partnerships are as natural as: the moon and the sun, the ocean and the earth, the forest and the animals,
a father and a son, my boots and the road, your breath and your lungs.

Everything meaningful in life walks together with something else. Today, we are in the beautiful Monastery of Oseira...our "special partner" in the last 11 years :) And we keep walking.

The second day in Val d’Aran at Elevate Europe reminded us of something important: the weather changes fast, life changes fast, plans change fast… and maybe that’s exactly where the magic lives.

Sun, rain, cold, warmth, clouds, blue skies, all in the same day. And somehow, it matched perfectly the energy of Elevate Europe.

More than 20 meetings. More than 20 conversations with people building ideas, projects, dreams, companies, communities, and new ways of looking at the world. Different backgrounds, different visions, different paths, but the same willingness to create something meaningful.

It feels really special to be surrounded by these crazy, beautiful humans. The kind of people who still believe in possibility. The kind of people who choose movement over comfort and curiosity over certainty. Days like this remind us why we keep walking.

First morning in Val d’Aran. And what a reminder of how life should begin.
Before the noise.
Before the emails.
Before the rush to become productive.

Just stop. Look around. Breathe deeply. Greet the day.

Welcome the mountains.
Welcome the silence.
Welcome nature.
Welcome your own life.

Every sunrise is an invitation to begin again with presence, gratitude, and open eyes.

This should be a daily ritual for all of us:
to step outside, even for a few minutes, and remember that being alive is already something extraordinary.

Good morning from Val d’Aran.
Let’s keep walking.
