🌧️💨 DON’T DREAD THE RAIN — EMBRACE IT! 🎣
Wet, windy and miserable on the bank? For a carp angler, that can sometimes mean some of the best conditions you could ask for.
Strong winds can push warmer, oxygen-rich water into certain areas of the lake, getting carp moving and looking for food. The rain also breaks up the surface, reducing light pe*******on and giving fish that extra sense of security to venture into areas they might avoid in bright, calm conditions.
A good bit of wind can also stir up the lakebed, naturally disturbing food and creating feeding opportunities. And when the weather changes, carp can often become more active as they respond to the changing conditions.
So while everyone else is looking out the window thinking “No chance I'm going fishing in that!”…
We’re thinking “Get the bivvy up!” 😂
Sometimes the nastiest days produce the nicest surprises. 🌧️🎣
Wet weather. Wind in your face. Rods out. Bring it on.
