Micul Trianon / Little Trianon Little Trianon of Romania The mansion belonged to Grigore Cantacuzino, an extremely rich figure and twice prime minister of Romania in the late 19th century.

He wanted to build a smaller copy of the French Trianon on his 200 hectares of land, but by the time the construction was finished he died, leaving it to his follower, who was less interested in living there. The war that came and the communist period brought the once superb mansion into a big ruin, the shadow of what used to be the brilliant and fascinating past...

La nord de Ploieşti, pe malul râului Prahova, mai există încă ruinele ultimului palat Cantacuzino. Un palat care trebuia să fie copia Trianonului şi care a fost completat de o suită de gradini şi fântâni, tot după modelul celor de la Versailles.
