I would like to convey my sincere thanks to everyone who understood my message and provided me support during my campaign. We may have lost the election but our message remains true. The campaign provided us opportunity to speak light, life and truth to a very sad, dark corrupt state of our nation. The truth of our message is stongly reflected in the return of most of the former leaders through their use of the RCDF slosh fund. Let's keep fighting against corruption for a better Solomon Islands for all of us to live and enjoy.

To all those who supported Roy Funu, in the land of the Rising Sun, in East Malaita, on behalf of the New Nation Party Team, we would would like to extend our greatest words of gratitude and heartfelt thanks for the humble appreciation of our candidate and for the ongoing endless support towards him and his campaign team as they now enter a time of prayer and await election results. To those of you who would like to listen to Edward Ronia, for one last time, Edward Ronia will be speaking at Fulisango SSEC Church at 5pm on Sunday. Special thanks goes out to the Solomon Star team for the NNP article on our stand on the Israel-Solo relations and on the ongoing existing Taiwan-Solo relations as well. In re-iterating our message of a Progressive Economy and on the issue of support from China or Taiwan, New Nation stands to declare in writing that we WILL NOT SUPPORT CHINA and entangle our economy further with aggressive loans from China. Should NNP come into power, NNP will continue with our current existing RELATIONSHIP WITH TAIWAN and review the CDF, for purposes of regulation and accountability and to ensure that ALL CDF's actually make a difference in terms of development on the ground. New Nation Party also has strong connections with ISRAEL. It is our goal that out from this relationship we would like to see a Solomon Islands Diplomatic Office in Israel, in Jerusalem, flourish, as well as seek both Technical support, Funding and assistance, in building our Progressive Economy, along with the DEMOCRATIC STATE OF ISRAEL. Strengthening our diplomatic ties with Israel will be considered CENTRAL to advancing all our economic, developmental goals and aims. ISRAEL will become our NEW partners in development.

In re-instating our message of a Progressive Economy, we also believe in prioritizing the well-being and welfare of our people. We believe that we can create jobs without imposing unnecessary Taxes on our workers hard earned money. Our goal is to create more jobs (investing in our youth’s talent and gifts) for our growing YOUTHS and UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES. New Nation would like to declare in writing that WE WILL NOT BUILD OUR ECONOMY ON UNNECESSARY TAXES imposed on us by past governments. Systematic Orientation is one of our pillars. We will apply a full Systematic Review of the whole Tax System/regime. We believe it is time we start investing back in the exports of our local products. A holistic complete Systematic Re-orientation of all systems including a review on the Tax Regime will be conducted and we will push for more investments, placed back into our local products for exports to markets overseas. This review will also include a review on foreign companies within our country that evade our tax policies and laws as well. In that way we will alleviate the pressure of tax on our citizens while we generate income from our locally exported products overseas in building our progressive economy. Our people have worked hard but our leaders have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to improve their lives, with ongoing unnecessary taxes and a complete lack on generating income from investments!!! Our people MUST enjoy what they have earned and our country deserves better, our family and children all deserve a good vibrant successful Future. It's time we put money back into local investments and cut all every unnecessary government taxes imposed on us. Let us put an end to this Self. Seeking. Leadership. Style, practiced by our Parliamentary Members / Leaders and let us vote for cooperate advancement for all.Vote Edward Ronia for Central Honiara and Roy Funu for East Malaita. In re-instating our message of developing a Progressive Economy for collective advancement and in conjunction, with our stand on integrity and transparency, New Nation Party FULLY supports West Papua's fight for Freedom and we will NOT build our economy on support from Indonesia at the expense of our vote for West Papua's Freedom at the United Nations. We support and promote friendly relations between nations, but we will not support, tyranny and oppression. We believe in the freedom of men and in equal justice and as a party we will uphold the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As is stated in Article 1, 3 and 5, 'All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood....Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person...No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment'...in accordance with the Article, New Nation Party would like to declare in writing that as a political party we believe Indonesia has breached these principles and therefore as a party, WE DO NOT RECOGNIZE INDONESIAN's SOVEREIGN CLAIM OVER WEST PAPUA AT ALL and we will make Policy to support the cause for West Papua's Freedom in government, should we hold power. Our stand is clear on this issue and we will not falter from it.

New Nation would also like to thank everyone for the energy, time and effort put into welcoming candidates on the ground, for being hospitable, kind, generous and also for liking this page and sharing it with friends and families both domestically and internationally. New Nation understands that as the campaigns continue, it will not be easy to maintain a straight face, become courageous about your convictions on the ground or take time to listen. On this day, New Nation Party, would like to acknowledge all the women across our country in Celebrating together International Women’s Day. As a political party we believe in cooperative advancement for all and that includes recognizing the right of women as partners in development. We also recognize the need to address progressive development problems affecting the lives of women, tackling issues of gender equality, work priority for women and elevating women from poverty. As a political party we stand with women all over the world in recognizing the challenges and complications they face in relation to pregnancy, child birth, gender inequality, maternal issues and domestic violence affecting our women. It is also our aim and goal to advance women in all areas of development as we recognize the rise in numbers of female youths in our current population growth rates but more importantly, to also include them in the work force of our country. It is our goal, plan, aim, hopes and dream, that as we create a better future, we will also recognize our women and the roles they play in our personal lives, community, country and nation as a whole. NNP calls upon all our supporters to also embrace this day, and recognize our women's rightful place, beside us men in all areas of development and partnership. It is our goal to see that women in Solomon Islands, have a future and a place at the decision making table and also experience the benefits of greater economic, social and personal security in their own lives, as well as to serve as brilliant examples of inspiration to other women of our nation, region and around the world. New Nation will NOT engage in 'Hype' and give people false promises. We recognize a fundamental truth; if we cannot build a PROGRESSIVE ECONOMY, we will NOT be able to EMPOWER OUR PEOPLE and Advance Cooperatively together. Our candidates have crystal clear vision and goals for the country but unlike other parties, we will not engage in making promises about the future when the Economy is still WEAK. We promote Integrity, Transparency, Accountability, Vision and Godly wisdom but we are also very REALISTIC about our problems. We attempt to tackle the challenge of creating a progressive economy head on!!! And reform laws that do not BEST serve the interest of our people and economy, so that we can all prosper and advance together and share in our sovereign welfare and in the responsibility of protecting our nations heritage, people, culture, land and resources together.

In case you have missed it, on the 25th of February, 2019, Edward Ronia was interviewed by Solomon Islands Broad Casting Cooperation in the Solomon Islands on the Community Development Report published by Transparency International. Edward Ronia was the Auditor General from 2009 - 2013. Interview done mostly in Solomon Islands Pidgin. New Nation Party would like to thank the Interviewer and SIBC News and Current Affairs Department Team (Rickson Jordan Bau) for the opportunity and copy of the audio record.

On the 1st of March 2019, Edward Ronia was given the opportunity to be interviewed on his views (as Solomon Islands former auditor general) on the RCDF report by Transparency International.
