Children's rights need to be protected on a national and international level. Child and Family in Focus (organization nr. 802534-1689) mission are to support a change of conditions that lead to domestic violence and institutional abuse. Domestic abuse is so confusing because it happens only in intimate, long-term relationships - in families. Separation is a dangerous time when violence by ex-partn

ers can escalate. Harassment and revenge often go hand-in-hand. Abusers use their children, manipulate people in the environment, and carry out economic harassment. Over 70 percent of domestic violence murders happen after the victim has ended the relationship. Other outcomes include long-term stalking, even after the abuser remarries; denial of financial resources; and manipulation of the family court system to terrify the victim and her children. Structural violence is when some social structure or social institution may harm people by preventing them from meeting their basic needs. It is closely linked to social injustice and examines the "contest for dignity" in a context of dramatic inequality. Foreign-born mothers and their children are more fragile in society. They also have a lack of social networks and supportive family ties. More than 6% of all children in Sweden will be taken away from their parents by social services. There are no recent statistics of children with foreign parents, this information has not been published since 2014. Several media have reported about Nordic countries' child welfare system.
