Watch out for GST Voucher (GSTV) scams

Scammers have been exploiting GSTV payouts as bait to trick victims.

In this variant, scammers impersonate government officials and send phishing messages containing malicious links, claiming that victims are eligible for GSTV payouts.

Victims are prompted to enter their personal details. Scammers then use the compromised information to take over their Telegram accounts, which are subsequently used to send phishing links to their contacts or add them to fake investment scheme groups.

⚠️Remember

Eligible citizens who have previously signed up for the GSTV scheme will automatically receive the payments.

Protect yourself:

✅ All government SMSes are sent from the gov.sg sender ID.

❌ Do not reply, click any links, or provide personal details to unverified sender.

🚨️“Microsoft” Pop-Up Alert? Do not panic!

Scammers used fake Microsoft pop-up alerts to trick victims into calling a "technical support" number.

After calling the number, victims were transferred to a fake "police officer" who allege them of being involved in criminal activities and request for access to their device(s).

Having gained access, scammers would make unauthorised transactions from victims' bank accounts.

Protect yourself:

❌ Never call numbers shown in a pop-up alert.

✅ Always verify alerts through your software provider’s official channels.

⚠️ Remember: Microsoft does NOT include phone numbers in its error messages.

Heads up, drivers!

Changes to the Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS) take effect from 1 Jan 2027.

Know the new rules, stay safe on the roads.

𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗗𝗜𝗣𝗦)

To enhance road safety, the Singapore Police Force will be tightening the Driver Improvement Points System (DIPS) to better deter traffic violations and keep errant motorists off our roads for longer periods, effective 1 January 2027.

Key changes include:
• Lower thresholds for licence suspension and revocation
• Longer suspension periods for each suspension
• Changes to educational interventions for errant motorists

These changes reinforce the importance of responsible driving and encourage all motorists to play their part in making our roads safer for everyone.

‎On 25 July 2026, Woodleigh NPC and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) came together to raise awareness of domestic violence at 8@Woodleigh Condominium. The event was organised by Woodleigh Residents’ Network.
‎
‎Woodleigh NPC conducted a Domestic Violence Roadshow, while MSF facilitated a Domestic Violence Awareness Training (DVAT) session.
‎
‎We were heartened by the strong participation from residents and grassroots leaders, who actively engaged our officers and asked thoughtful questions throughout the event. Many also scanned the QR codes on our domestic violence awareness banner to learn more about the support and resources available. Participants received anti-domestic violence destress kits and domestic violence information kits to take home.
‎
‎Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the success of this meaningful event. By working together to raise awareness, look out for one another, and encourage those in need to seek help, we can all play a part in building a safer and more caring community.
