Victims are enticed to โ€œinvestโ€ through false promises of attractive returns and fabricated testimonials from purported chat group members. Since 1 June 2026, more than 62 cases have been reported with total losses of at least $68,200. Most of the victims have been scammed on X.

โœ… Only buy from authorised platforms like Ticketmaster.

โœ… Those with resold tickets will not be allowed into the venue and will be turned away from the concert with no refund.

โœ… Ticketmaster will never issue the tickets via emails.

More than $5.4 million has been lost to Government Officials Impersonation Scams (GOIS) since April 2026. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Scammers, impersonating Government officials, have been accusing victims of being involved in criminal activities.

They have asked victims to make cash transfers via ATMs to โ€˜safety accountsโ€™ for investigation purposes.
