On 13 June 2026, inmate artists from the Visual Arts Hub and Art Behind Bars welcomed their loved ones for a meaningful Family Joint Session. 💛

The session featured heartfelt sharing about the artists’ journeys in art, a behind-the-scenes video montage, and a joint card-making activity. Through every handwritten message and artwork created together, words of love, encouragement and appreciation were exchanged. 🫶🏻

It was a touching reminder of how support of loved ones can provide strength, hope, and motivation along the journey of change.

Come discover the artists’ stories through their artworks at this year’s Yellow Ribbon Community Arts Festival! 🎨

Your past doesn't get the final say.

We've all been given labels we never asked for. But labels only have power if we let them stick.

Watch as the Titans from and youth leaders from tear up the words that once labelled them—and replace them with the truths they've chosen to live by.

"Everyone has a past. Not everyone gets to define their future. Some do." 💛

👇 What's one word you're leaving behind today?

From stories to canvas and captions, every artwork becomes more than what meets the eye. This 2026, we are inviting everyone to see second chances through a different lens.

In the lead up to the Yellow Ribbon Community Arts Festival 2026 this August, our inmate artists reflected on the experiences and inspirations behind their artworks. Guided by curator Ming Yen during a caption writing workshop, they explored how to put those reflections into words, bringing greater meaning and context to each piece.

Behind every artwork is a story, do you want to hear it?

Getting a job is a huge win—but what happens after the first paycheck arrives? 💼💵

For many individuals returning to society, managing an income, balancing past debts, and breaking old spending habits may trigger significant financial anxiety.

In this video, YRSG Career Coach Saleha and workshop attendees share how practical financial education transforms the reintegration journey. The session helped attendees shift from financial anxiety to greater financial control, giving them a concrete action plan to manage debt, prioritise saving, and avoid common money traps.

Financial literacy is the glue that holds a new life together. By replacing financial stress with stability, we actively build a more resilient community.

A massive thank you to the corporate volunteers from ISCA Cares for empowering our attendees with a rock-solid foundation for the future.
