以前看孩子抓宝，
现在轮到自己抓了。😂
Why can't they take their eyes off their phones?

"Quick! There's one over there!"
"Wait, wait... how do I catch it?"

Turns out,
they're not watching short videos—
they're playing Pokémon GO!

10 years ago,
they watched their children catch Pokémon.
Today,
it's their turn. 😂

你有没有发现，有时候情绪来了，却说不清楚？
在武吉巴督悦活坊 GLOW（Bukit Batok），我们用一种很简单的方式，慢慢靠近自己的内心。

拿起彩色笔，把当下的感受画下来——不用画得好，也没有标准答案。只是诚实地面对自己：今天的情绪，是阳光一点，还是有点阴天。

不需要会画画，也不需要准备答案。
只需要一点点愿意，给自己的情绪一个出口。
“情绪与艺术”工作坊，是一场让人重新认识自己的温柔练习。

Have you ever noticed that sometimes emotions come, but you can’t quite put them into words?
At GLOW (Bukit Batok), we take a simple approach to gently reconnect with our inner selves.

We pick up coloured pens and draw how we feel in the moment—no need to draw well, and no right or wrong answers. Just an honest reflection of ourselves: is today’s mood a little sunny, or a little cloudy?
You don’t need to know how to draw, and you don’t need to prepare any answers.
All it takes is a small willingness to give your emotions a way out.

The “Emotion & Art” workshop is a gentle practice of rediscovering oneself.

☀️Lovely day out with our H.ART (Humanistic Art Programme) participants! 💗

We visited the ✨⛰️"Bukit Batok Memories: Hills, Home, Heritage"⛰️✨ exhibition at the Bukit Batok Public Library.

🎨This vibrant digital collection celebrates the stories, history, and heritage of Bukit Batok. Through the artistic tools and perspectives developed during our H.ART sessions, participants engaged with the exhibition through a different lens—not just as spectators, but as contributors to the collective memory of the community.🌈

💭The excursion also invited us to reflect on the growing H.ART Collective Memory—a shared tapestry of stories, experiences, observations, and creative expressions gathered throughout our journey together. As we explored the memories of Bukit Batok, we also celebrated the memories we are creating as a group.🏘️

🙏Thank you to all our participants for making this such a meaningful and inspiring day🙏

🎬 手牵手，看电影去！

感恩新加坡善济医社的邀请，
武吉巴督与南洋慈济乐龄长青馆和悦活坊约90位长者，
分两场次来到 VivoCity 观赏《梁婆婆vs阿炳》电影。

熟悉的角色一出现，
现场笑声不断，
也勾起了许多长者共同的回忆。✨

谢谢这场温暖的安排，
让长者们度过了一个开心又难忘的下午。🍿

🎬 Off to the movies, hand in hand!

With a kind invitation from Sian Chay Medical Institution , around 90 seniors from Tzu Chi SEEN (Bukit Batok & Nanyang) and GLOW - Active Ageing Centre visited VivoCity, Harbourfront in two sessions to enjoy the movie “Liang Popo vs Ah Beng”. ✨

The familiar character brought laughter, nostalgia, and joyful moments to everyone.

Thank you for the warm arrangement and for giving our seniors such a happy and memorable afternoon. 🍿

由共和理工学院研发的全新运动，好玩也刺激！

“Tai Chi Ball” may show many different versions online—but you won’t find this one anywhere else. This is truly one of a kind.

A small ball, spinning in the palm of the hand, round and round.
It looks simple, but what it trains goes far beyond the body.
It also rebuilds focus, coordination, and confidence.

Developed by Republic Polytechnic, this new exercise is both fun and challenging—and surprisingly addictive in the best way.
