Ever heard of Go-REACH! and wondered what it's all about? 🕵️‍♂️

Go-REACH! is REACH's new youth engagement flagship programme and our inaugural run in June was quite the ride! 👟

From a thrilling spy mission (which you may have seen earlier on our page 😉) to exclusive site visits to private industry organisations and government ministries, post-secondary school students got an inside look at how different sectors drive Singapore forward. They also had the chance to interact with Members of Parliament to discuss issues that matter to youths.

NDR ialah acara tahunan di mana Perdana Menteri menyampaikan amanat kepada seluruh rakyat dan menggariskan dasar-dasar utama negara

REACH, in collaboration with Varsity Voices, organised a dialogue titled “Beyond Forward Singapore: Strengthening Our Social Compact”. We were joined by Acting Minister for Manpower and Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information Ms Jasmin Lau 刘洁敏, as well as close to 120 participants from various institutes of higher learning (IHLs).

It was a fruitful and energetic conversation on the social compact that Singaporean youths are inheriting. We discussed what a fair education system should look like beyond grades and academic merit, how young Singaporeans can navigate a labour market that demands both purpose and pragmatism, and whether citizens truly have a voice in shaping government policies. Minister Lau was clear: government cannot and should not be the answer to everything. The starting point is for one to know their own values, engage with the world beyond their immediate circle, and be willing to stand up not just for themselves, but for those around them.

REACH warmly invites all Singaporeans to participate in our conversations on the upcoming National Day Rally (NDR) speech, which would be delivered by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong on 23 August 2026 (Sunday).

NDR is an annual event where the Prime Minister addresses the nation and makes key policy announcements.

Sign up for the English session happening on 7 September 2026 to gain a deeper understanding on the key announcements and share your thoughts!
