Unul dintre filmele care mi-au plăcut cel mai mult în 2025, Sinners, tocmai a câștigat patru premii Oscar.

Filmul vorbește despre identitate, cultură și despre dorința profundă de apartenență atunci când încerci să îți construiești o viață într-un loc nou.

Lucrând zi de zi cu tema mobilității forței de muncă, vedem această realitate foarte des.

Mobilitatea forței de muncă înseamnă oportunități — dar să pleci de acasă pentru a munci și a trăi într-un loc nou nu este niciodată ușor.

În spatele fiecărei mutări există aspirații, povești personale și, uneori, alegeri dificile.

De aceea, la Autoritatea Europeană pentru Muncă, încercăm să privim oamenii nu doar ca pe un set de competențe pentru piața muncii, ci ca pe indivizi — cu propriile aspirații, experiențe și moduri diferite de a-și exprima talentele.

Where are the labour shortages in Europe?

All countries experience shortages across a total 370 occupations, with the most being declared by the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Norway and France.
The most affected occupations are in construction, road transport and care sectors.

🧐Labour exploitation in the meat industry revealed in cross-border

supported inspections of working and living conditions of mostly Romanian workers employed in the meat industry in the Netherlands. More than 100 officers from Germany 🇩🇪, the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and Romania 🇷🇴 were involved.

Unworthy workers’ housings conditions across the border in Germany were discovered where 42 workers’ accommodations were checked and their 150 tenants interviewed.
The Dutch and Romanian labour authorities offered 68 workers active in the meat industry in the Netherlands advice on their labour and social rights. Also temporary employment agencies in the Netherlands were inspected.
