Happy 65th Independence Anniversary to our beloved Sierra Leone!

Today, as we celebrate 27th April, we reflect on the sacrifices of our forefathers and the journey of our nation toward peace, unity, and development. Independence is not only about freedom from colonial rule, but also about our collective responsibility to build a stronger, better, and more inclusive Sierra Leone.

As the Western Area Rural District Youth Council, we remain committed to empowering young people, promoting peace, good governance, and sustainable community development. The youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow we are the changemakers of today.

Let us continue to stand together in unity, patriotism, and service to our nation. Let us reject violence, division, and corruption, and embrace hard work, love, and national progress.

May Sierra Leone continue to rise in peace and prosperity.
