Hambalyo 66-guurada Maalinta Xorriyadda Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya! 🇸🇴

Maanta waa maalin taariikhi u ah shacabka jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliya waxaynu si dhab ah u xusnaa geesiyaashii nafahooda, dhiiggooda iyo halgankooda u huray sidii calanka Soomaaliyeed u noqon lahaa astaan xorriyad, karaamo iyo madax-bannaani. Waxaan xurmeynaynaa raggii iyo dumarkii horseeday dhalashada Jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliyeed, kuwaas oo jiilasha maanta iyo kuwa berri uga tegay dhaxal qiimo leh. Iyadoo la xusayo 66 sano oo ka soo wareegtay maalintii xorriyadda, aan dib u milicsanno ballanqaadkeenna ku aaddan midnimada, nabadda, wadajirka iyo dib u dhiska dalkeenna.

Abaal-marinta ugu weyn ee aynu u gudan karno halyeeyadii xorriyadda ma aha oo keliya xuska halgankoodii, balse waa in aynu hirgalinnaa himiladii ay u dagaallameen, Soomaaliya xooggan, mideysan, nabdoon oo barwaaqo ah. Aynu ka gudubno kala qaybsanaanta, adkeynno hay’adaha dowladnimada, dhiirrigelinno oo awood siinno dhallinyarada, isla markaana aynu wadajir u dhisno mustaqbal sharaf iyo horumar u horseeda jiilasha soo socda. Hambalyo 66-guurada Xorriyadda Soomaaliyeed. Ha noolaato Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya.

June 26 remains one of the most significant dates in Somali history. On this day, 66 years ago, the Northern region of Somalia attained its independence, marking a historic milestone in the struggle of the Somali people for self-determination and freedom. Importantly, that achievement paved the way for the voluntary union of the North and South on July 1, 1960, culminating in the birth of the Somali Republic. As we reflect on this important anniversary, we are reminded of who we are, where we came from, and the values upon which our nation was founded. Our forefathers fought for independence not as separate peoples, but as brothers united by a common language, culture, and identity. They envisioned a united Somali nation that would safeguard the dignity of its people and advance the aspirations of all Somalis. The dream of a greater Somalia, a people united by shared history and common purpose, remains a powerful part of our national consciousness.

The challenges we face today should not cause us to abandon that vision. Division, clanism, political mistrust, and narrow interests have weakened our collective strength and slowed our national progress. The civil war brought immense suffering and left deep wounds that continue to affect our society. Yet history teaches us that nations are not defined by their divisions, but by their ability to overcome them. The fact that we experienced conflict does not mean we are destined to remain divided. We have the responsibility and the ability to build a different future, one founded on unity, reconciliation, and a shared national purpose.

Recent developments involving the Somaliland administration and its engagement with Israel raise serious concerns regarding Somalia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Any actions, agreements, or diplomatic initiatives that seek to bypass or undermine the authority of the Federal Republic of Somalia interfere with the sovereignty of our nation and challenge the principles upon which the Somali Republic was founded. Such developments should not push us further apart; rather, they should remind us of the urgent need for dialogue, truth, reconciliation, and mutual understanding. A united Somalia will always be stronger than a divided Somalia, economically, politically, and strategically.
This anniversary should also serve as a call to action. We must open the doors wider to our brothers and sisters in the northern region. Their voices matter. Their concerns deserve to be heard. Their perspectives must be part of any meaningful conversation about Somalia's future. Reconciliation cannot succeed through exclusion; it can only succeed through engagement, respect, and a genuine willingness to listen.

Today, as we commemorate June 26, let us reaffirm our commitment to the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Somali Republic. Let us honor the sacrifices of those who fought for our independence by working toward a future that brings Somalis together rather than drives them apart. Let us not miss the opportunity to heal old wounds, restore trust, and build a nation worthy of the dreams of our forefathers.
The Somali Republic was born through unity. Its future can only be secured through unity.

Maanta oo ku beegan 26-ka Juun, waxaan si sharaf iyo qadarin leh u xusaynaa sannad-guuradii 66-aad ee maalintii gobollada Waqooyi ee Soomaaliya ay heleen xorriyaddooda. Waa maalin taariikhi ah oo xambaarsan halgan, geesinimo iyo himilo qaran oo ay u soo hoyeen halyeeyadii Soomaaliyeed ee u dagaallamay xorriyadda iyo karaamada ummaddooda. Guushaas taariikhiga ah waxay gogol-xaar u noqotay mideyntii Waqooyi iyo Koonfur ee 1-dii Luulyo 1960, taas oo dhalisay Jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliya.

Xuskan qiimaha badan wuxuu ina xusuusinayaa in aasaaska qarankeennu ku dhisnaa midnimo, walaaltinimo iyo himilo wadajir ah. Aabbayaasheen waxay rumaysnaayeen in shacabka Soomaaliyeed ay yihiin hal ummad oo ay mideeyaan af, dhaqan, diin iyo taariikh wadaag ah. Aragtidaas qaranimo waxay weli tahay tiirka ugu muhiimsan ee lagu ilaalin karo jiritaanka iyo mustaqbalka Soomaaliya.

Inkastoo dalkeenna uu soo maray duruufo adag, colaado iyo kala qaybsanaan dhaawac weyn u geystay bulshada Soomaaliyeed, haddana ma jirto caqabad ka weyn rabitaanka shacabka ee nabadda iyo dib-u-heshiisiinta. Taariikhdu waxay caddeynaysaa in ummadaha guulaysta aysan ahayn kuwa aan dhib soo marin, balse ay yihiin kuwa ka gudba khilaafaadka kana shaqeeya danta guud iyo mustaqbalka jiilasha soo socda.

Waxaan adkeynaynaa muhiimadda ay leedahay ilaalinta madax-bannaanida, midnimada iyo wadajirka dhuleed ee Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya. Arrin kasta oo wiiqaysa qaranimada Soomaaliya ama meel uga dhacaysa midnimada ummadda Soomaaliyeed waa mid u baahan in lagu wajaho wada-hadal, is-faham iyo xalal waara oo ku salaysan danaha shacabka Soomaaliyeed.

Mustaqbalka Soomaaliya wuxuu ku jirtaa gacmaha shacabka Soomaaliyeed, waxaana lagu gaari karaa oo keliya midnimo, wadajir iyo himilo qaran oo la wada leeyahay.

Sanad Cusub oo Barakaysan 1-da Muxarram 1448 Hijriyada.

Waxaan idiin rajaynayaa sanad cusub oo Islaami ah oo barako, nabad iyo kheyr badan leh. Ilaahay ha ka dhigo sannadkan mid qalbiyadeenna ku beera farxad, deganaansho, caafimaad waara iyo nimcooyin aan dhammaad lahayn dhamaad umadda Muslimiinta gaar ahaan umadda Soomaaliyeed.

Bilowga sannadkan cusub ee Hijriga ah ha noqdo fursad aynu dib ugu milicsanno nolosheenna, uga mahadcelinno Eebbe nimcooyinkiisa aan la soo koobi karin, isla markaana aynu ku xoojino iimaankeena, cibaadadeenna iyo xiriirkeenna Alle. Ilaahay ha inagu gallado qalbiyo iftiin leh, niyad samir badan, caqli haggan iyo xikmad aynu ku wajahno caqabadaha nolosha.

Waxaan Alle ka baryayaa inuu mideeyo ummadda Muslimiinta ah, qalbiyadeenna isu soo dhaweeyo, jacayl iyo walaaltinnimona dhexdeenna ku abuuro. Ha noqdo sannadkan mid ay colaaduhu nagu yaraadaan iyo fitnadu, nabad iyo xasilloonina ku baahdo dunida oo dhan. Ilaahay ha u gargaaro dadka dhibaataysan, ha u fududeeyo kuwa duruufaha adag ku jira, hana noo iftiimiyo jidka kuwa rajaynaya berri ka wanaagsan maanta.

No diplomatic visit, foreign envoy, or discussion of opening embassies can alter a fundamental fact: Somaliland remains part of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Recent developments surrounding Somaliland's engagement with Israel raise an important questions about respect for Somalia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internationally recognized borders. For Somalis who believe in the unity of our country, such developments cannot be viewed in isolation. They touch the very foundation upon which the Somali Republic was established and recognized by the international community.

A nation is not defined solely by ethnicity. It is built on a shared history, common institutions, collective sacrifice, recognized borders, and a common destiny. Somalia was built through the aspirations and sacrifices of generations who believed that unity offered greater promise than fragmentation. That historical reality cannot be undone through diplomatic gestures or political calculations.
History provides valuable lessons. During the Nigerian Civil War, external actors, including Israel, provided support to Biafra's secessionist movement. Yet despite foreign assistance and international attention, Biafra ultimately remained part of Nigeria. Nigeria's territorial integrity endured because the foundations of statehood extend beyond temporary political alliances. The lesson is not about conflict; it is about the enduring importance of preserving national cohesion and territorial integrity.

For Somalia, the more important question is not who recognizes whom, but what kind of future we seek to build. Why should our political energy be invested in deepening divisions when our collective interests point toward cooperation? Somalia possesses immense potential: a strategic location connecting Africa to the Middle East, a young and entrepreneurial population, abundant natural resources, and a shared cultural heritage. These advantages should position us as a leading nation in the region.

This should serve as a moment of reflection for Somali leaders across all regions and political persuasions. Our people deserve leadership that prioritizes national interests over political differences. Our youth deserve opportunities, not uncertainty. Our future generations deserve a stable, prosperous, and united country capable of competing with the best in the world.

The path forward requires renewed commitment to national unity, stronger institutions, responsible governance, economic transformation, and meaningful political dialogue. It requires leaders who understand that lasting progress is built through cooperation, compromise, and a shared sense of national responsibility. The generation that built the Somali Republic demonstrated that unity was possible. Our generation has a responsibility to prove that it remains possible today.
Somalia's territorial integrity must be preserved. Its sovereignty must be respected. And its future must be built through unity, not division.
