A Message to South Sudanese Youths Everywhere

Dear brothers and sisters of South Sudan, at home and across the world,

We are the heartbeat of our nation. Our energy, ideas, and courage shape not only today, but the future generations will inherit. No matter where we live, our roots are one, our destiny is shared, and our strength grows when we stand together.

Let us choose unity over division. Let us say NO to anything that involves hatred, tribalism, violence, discrimination, and harmful words. Hatred weakens us; unity lifts us. When we listen to one another with respect and act with compassion, we turn pain into purpose and difference into strength.

We are more than the labels placed upon us. We are builders, peacemakers, innovators, and leaders. Each voice matters. Each life has value. Together, we can replace anger with understanding, fear with hope, and silence with solidarity.

Wherever you are, Juba or Johannesburg, Nairobi or New York, carry South Sudan in your actions. Speak peace. Practice fairness. Defend dignity. Reject rumors and refuse to spread division. Choose dialogue. Choose service. Choose love for country and for one another.

Dear Fellow South Sudanese,

As we joyfully celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I extend my warmest Christmas greetings and best wishes to you all—our citizens at home and in the diaspora. Christmas is a sacred season of hope, love, forgiveness, and renewal, reminding us of the values that bind us together as one people and one nation.

This special time invites us to reflect on the progress we have made as a country and the challenges that still lie ahead. Despite the difficulties we face, the spirit of Christmas encourages us to remain united, resilient, and committed to peace and development. It is through unity, mutual respect, and shared responsibility that we can build a stronger and more prosperous South Sudan for present and future generations.

As the Undersecretary of Transport, I reaffirm our commitment to improving transport systems that connect our communities, support economic growth, and enhance access to essential services.
