JUBA, 2 SEPTEMBER 2026 β H.E. Emmanuel Adil Anthony, Governor of Central Equatoria State, chaired the Extraordinary Council of Ministers Sitting No. 6 of 2026, reaffirming the State Governmentβs commitment to peace, security, protection of civilians and public assets, and effective service delivery ahead of the general elections.
The Council noted improved security and stability across the State, with isolated incidents being contained by authorities.
The Council also approved, subject to amendments, the Draft Budget, Draft Appropriation Bill and Draft Financial Bill for FY 2026/2027, with a proposed budget of SSP 108.2 billion.
The Government reaffirmed its commitment to peace, good governance, protection of public resources and improved service delivery across Central Equatoria State.
