REQUEST FOR THE STOPPING OF UNAUTHORIZED FLASHING LIGHTS ON VEHICLES, RASHAS AND MOTOR CYCLES!

Flashing and excessively bright lights on private vehicles should be strictly prohibited, except for Police , Fire & Rescue , Ambulance 🚑 and other authorized emergency vehicles, or when legally used for indicating turns.

At night, these lights can blind oncoming drivers, obstruct visibility, cause confusion, and increase the risk of serious road crashes.
Lights are meant to improve visibility not blind other road users.

Let’s enforce proper vehicle lighting regulations and make our roads safer for everyone.

🇸🇸 ICT-777 MORNING PARADE | OPERATIONAL READINESS & SERVICE

The Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT-777) held its morning operations parade to prepare personnel for the week ahead and reinforce the Directorate’s commitment to discipline, readiness and service to the people of South Sudan.

Addressing the parade, the Director, Maj. Gen. James Madut Ngor “177,” described the parade—known in Arabic as “Tamam”—as more than a routine formation. It is an important platform where personnel receive new directives, communicate operational information and ensure everyone understands the tasks and responsibilities ahead.

The Deputy Director, Brig. Gen. Kuong Majok Kuong “Kilo Mike Kilo” (KMK), emphasized the importance of operational readiness, reminding personnel that every member must remain prepared 24/7 to respond and serve whenever called upon.

He further stressed the need for ICT-777 to develop a strong DNA of operations—being ready to support operations, respond to emerging challenges and, above all, contribute to the safety and wellbeing of the citizens of South Sudan. 🇸🇸

Example: Neighbours can alert each other about a security concern in the area.

Example: Keep the entrance, compound and parking area of your home or business properly lit at night.

Police and Residents are Pursuing robbers in Eden

Three Robbers on the Run After Attempted Motorbike Robbery
Eden Residence Area — Three unidentified armed robbers fled the scene after allegedly attempting to rob a young boda boda rider of his motorbike.
The suspects reportedly fired several gunshots into the air in an attempt to scare the rider. However, nearby sector and residents quickly came to his rescue, forcing the robbers to flee the scene.

We appreciate the Residents and urges public to report suspected criminals. Security is a responsibility of all. Bravo Residents of Eden
