This official notice informs the public of the swearing-in ceremony for Hon. Denay Jock Chagor, the newly appointed National Minister of Wildlife, Conservation, and Tourism.

All officials are warmly invited to receive Hon. Denay Jock Chagor at Juba International Airport.
· Time: 8:00 AM (Juba local time)
· Purpose: To accompany him to the swearing-in venue.

BREAKING: Dr. Riek Machar Teny’s case against the government has attracted 107 defense lawyers from around the world, as follows:

(1). 36 barristers/lawyers from the UK who have pledged to defend Dr. Riek pro bono.

(2). 24 defense lawyers from Norway, funded by international human rights organizations.

(3). 9 volunteer defense lawyers from the United States of America (USA).

(4). 11 defense lawyers sponsored by the German government.

(5). 10 defense lawyers from East African countries—Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia covering their own costs.

(6). 4 local lawyers (South Sudanese), funded by the family of the accused.

(7). 2 self-sponsored lawyers from Ghana and Nigeria.

(8). 1 defense lawyer from Sudan.

Opinion on the current economic hardships in the country.

South Sudan has been facing economic hardships for about ten and half years which is the whole independent period particularly we would said in our 14 years of independence the economy was just stable for only 3 and half years which is from 2011 to middle of 2015.

In 2016 to 2020, we were experiencing what we would call the inflation rate, which commodities prices increase yearly , and the civil servants were receiving the salaries in time but not lately.

From 2020 to 2023, our country economic was experiencing real inflation, and commodities prices increased in where one week or one month, where civil servant were receiving their salaries after a half of year.
From 2024 to 2025 the country come to the point of infinitely elastic, which is the endless economic hardships where we are experiencing a shortage of local currency in the central bank of South Sudan and other Commercial banks.

My personal opinion now
As a young and upcoming Economist, the following are my opinions to end the endless hardships in the country.
1. It's high time for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning plus Governor of Central Bank of South Sudan to sit down and have one planned to stabilise the Economic Hardships. And that plan would be changing our current South Sudanese pounds to another new currency.
2. It's high tim for the Central Bank of South Sudan to print more money o boost the few remaining pounds in the Mmarket In the Economic we said printing of more may cost high inflation but at the same time it may solve the inflation, in the principle of Macroeconomics it said To test this, print more money, the economist could collect and analyze data on prices and money from many different countries. If growth in the quantity of money were not at all related to the rate at which prices are rising, the economist would start to doubt the validity of printing more money.
