I thought Hot in Juba is a platform that could verify information before rushing to display its. for your information Mayom county Youths have not involved in such massacre , the Actors have been suspected to be SSPM/A of Stephen Buay Rolnyang and Rapid Support Force RSF of Sudan.Mayom County also was one of their Target where they have also killed people in Biybiy B**g Tharwang Menyang and Thil G*i Villages of Pub Payam. No County government nor state government have ever organized an attacks and for your information Mayom county is one of the strong hold of SPLM party with zero number of SPLM-IO members or other parties.We are 100% SPLM and we will always be.lets ignore propagandas and we need to be logical in our dealing.STOP accusing others.

Abiemnhom massacre death toll rises to 169 as victims buried in mass grave

At least 169 people have been reported killed following a deadly attack on Abiemnhom County in the Ruweng Administrative Area early Sunday morning.

Local sources say the assault occurred on March 1, 2026, at about 4:29 a.m., when armed youth allegedly linked to SPLM-IO forces from Mayom County launched an attack on the area. Among those killed were the Abiemnhom County Commissioner and the county’s Executive Director, along with civilians.

Authorities and community members said the victims were buried in a mass grave later the same morning due to the high number of casualties and ongoing security concerns.

Officials claim the attackers were connected to armed youth mobilized from Mayom County, Unity State.

Let's think Like responsible people;

if you are betraying your own community, do you really consider yourself normal or you take its as political game?
As human beings learn that if you finger point someone, you also know that the rest of the fingers are pointing at you.
let take it for example what are brother Dejul Thoare did, it's self betrayal because if you community have to be called thieves you count yourself in too and if you accused or betrayed your community know also you set a trap for yourself that is self (accused).
As young people, let us not get lost in politics because if we behave like kids even the people whom we support will withdraw their trust in us and will consider us as people with bad conduct and having im mature behavior.
The things we do are the ones that gave our true definition and am very sure we will regret them one day.Where on Earth have we ever seen or heard a leader mobilize the youth to go and raided catle if it's because these people like Dejul Thoare are attention seekers.
Mayom county Youths have not gone to raid our neighbors and no government personnel have ever encourage raiding, not even once.
let these not feed us with lies and fake news.

On behalf of mayom Youths Association and my on behalf I would like to congratulations my fellow Youths who are appointed into various positions in the office of commissioner of mayom county beginning from deputy Youths chairman who was appointed as the office manager in the office of commissioner By the name Kerbino Pouk Dapany and the other colleagues eg Chierey Gatlow Koang AKA Mamuon Bereer and G*i Kuol as their names are in the picture below.And lot of appreciation goes to hon.commissioner,Hon Jackson Mut Yiengoah for appointed such potential Youths in the government of Mayom county..... The plan of connecting an oil pipe from Kaikang to Unity oil field will not work unless it will be done after a base station is first set up in Kaikang with its workers because when you look at it, it automatically prove that these people are denying the people of Mayom county jobs.we need to have logistics team, health team engineering/technical team, security team and all supportive staffs in Kaikang of Mayom county.we will not allow any connections before Kaikang open.
