U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Eric T. Hill, Special Operations Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve commander, greets Gen. Muhammad al-Talah, Maghawir al-Thawra (MaT) commander, during a Key Leader Engagement at al-Tanf Garrison, Syria. During the engagement, both commanders reaffirmed the defeat Daesh partnership in southern Syria and talked about current and future operations. Coalition Forces in Syria continue to train, advise, and assist our partner force.
