Friends, how was your weekend? We hope it was as productive and active as ours at the sanctuary! 🐘

This weekend we had a real holiday for our elephants. They enjoyed swimming in the river, playing and, of course, delicious treats. Did you know that elephants love fruits? 🍏

Our volunteers were also busy. They helped with caring for the animals, conducted educational programs and simply enjoyed the time spent with our giants.

If you haven’t been to our sanctuary yet, then be sure to come! Here you can not only learn more about elephants, but also make friends with these amazing creatures.

😊 I had an unforgettable holiday here. The elephants are friendly, the staff are nice and we had delicous meals everyday. The accomdation is nice too.

Me and my friend got a private room, although it is not a luxury one, it is a well-equipped one.

When you get out from the room every morning, you will feel how amazing is the nature - the sun , the plants and the animals.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience!
Highly recommend this elephant centre - its about 1hr outside of Chiang Mai town.

🌴 We booked it with a tour which picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back at the end of the day. The staff were very lovely and helped to provide a great experience. They gave us clothes to change into because you get a bit muddy, and there were showers and soap provided as well to wash off afterwards.

🌴We chopped sugar cane, and then went to feed the elephants which were very friendly and well looked after. We ended by giving them a mud bath in the river and having lunch provided for us.

💙 I would highly recommend this experience to support rescued elephants, and more importantly - does not allow tourists to ride the elephants.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our best experience in Thailand so far visiting a true ethical elephant sanctuary. This is your go-to place😊

We were in Ran Tong for the 3-day volunteer program! So far it has been our favorite experience while travelling in Thailand! We stayed in a nice room with warm shower and delicious food!

👉 We worked cutting elephant grass, cleaning the elephant's resting place, doing vitamin balls and showering these amazing animals. It is very interesting to see all the work the Mahouts need to do to take care of the elephants.

Living this experience helps you understand what an amazing work these people do to preserve such an amazing species.

👉 It was great to visit a true ethical elephant sanctuary where no harm is done to the animals! In many other sanctuaries, they use tools to control the animals harming their skin. In Ran-Tong they only use voice commands to control them. It's amazing to see how they obey the Mahouts without any harm!

🌴 The staff was very welcoming and caring. They really made us feel safe when we were near the elephants! Shout out to Yan, Mr.T and Nenee because they made us feel at home away from home!
