Enkontru ne’e organiza hosi Prezidente Autoridade Aviasaun Sivíl Timor-Leste (AACTL), Zezinho António Gusmão no partisipa hosi peritu sira hosi Organizasaun Internasionál Aviasaun Sivíl (ICAO) mak hanesan Auditór ICAO, Aurélien Lavayssiere, Mohammed Khan, Mark Stephen, no Rusnee Mustapa, nomos hetan partisipasaun husi Prezidente ANATL.IP, Romualdu da Silva.
Durante sesaun ne’e, ekipa ICAO aprezenta deskobrimentu husi avaliasaun Programa Auditoria Seguransa Universal (USAP) ICAO foin lalais ne’e hala’o iha Timor-Leste.

High-Level Meeting on ICAO-USAP Assessment Results
Today, a high-level meeting was convened at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, presided over by the Honorable Minister of Transport and Communications. The meeting was organized by the President of the Timor-Leste Civil Aviation Authority (AACTL) and attended by experts from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
During the session, the ICAO team presented the findings of the recent ICAO Universal Security Audit Programme (USAP) assessment conducted in Timor-Leste. The experts highlighted key areas of progress as well as critical findings, and provided a set of detailed recommendations aimed at enhancing national compliance with ICAO standards and regulations.
The meeting was also attended by AACTL technical staff and advisors from the Office of the Minister. This engagement marks an important step forward in strengthening civil aviation security oversight and institutional capacity in Timor-Leste.
The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to working closely with AACTL and international partners to implement the recommendations and ensure continuous improvement in civil aviation security in line with global stand
