PFTAC experts, Mr. John McAlister & Mr. Matt Lewis were in Tonga this week working with the Ministry of Revenue and Customs to support next steps in modernizing revenue administration systems, including the Government’s First 100 Days commitments.

The discussions focused on assessing current plans, strengthening ICT foundations, and helping to guide future system modernization, ensuring digital investments are well sequenced, affordable, and aligned with business needs, governance, and sustainability.
