🌍 Nature-Rulers exploring sustainability and safety in Burdur! 🗑️♻️

Today, our Erasmus team had a productive day, gaining valuable insights into disaster management and environmental sustainability. We began at the Center of Emergency, where we were trained on how to act during earthquakes and floods. We learned the importance of having an emergency bag ready and practiced emergency exits to ensure we’re prepared for any situation.

Afterward, we visited the Waste Treatment Facility. The officials gave us a detailed tour, explaining the journey of garbage from collection to recycling. We also explored a beautiful lavender garden within the facility and learned about the crucial process of disinfecting medical waste, ensuring it’s handled safely and responsibly.

Our day was both educational and inspiring, highlighting the efforts being made to protect our environment and communities. Stay tuned for more updates from Burdur! 🌱

Our team had the incredible opportunity to visit the stunning Salda Lake in Burdur, Turkey—a true natural wonder with its turquoise waters and unique white shores. 🏞️ We learned about the delicate ecosystems that thrive here, the fascinating animals that call this place home, and the ongoing threats this beautiful site faces due to human impact and environmental changes. 🐦🌱
