WORK AT CUNUPIA RIVER

During a recent Facebook Live, Caroni East MP Dr. Rishad Seecheran provided an update on the situation at the Cunupia River.

He explained that the waterway had been temporarily blocked by a contractor as part of ongoing work to construct a retaining wall.

The good news is that the contractor has since begun removing the blockage to restore the free flow of water and prevent further disruptions.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep the public informed.
