(1)

APITO Eco Farm and Nature Park, includes a community-based ecological farm, as part of our mission to demonstrate an alternative model of development. The name APITO derives from the first peoples feminine deity of nature, fertility and balance… a sort of Mother Earth. The name reflects our focus to work towards developing ways of being and interfacing with nature that are more thoughtful and sus

tainable. We do not use synthetic chemicals at our site and instead encourage and practice an evolving alternative regenerative model of agriculture. At this site, persons come to learn and practice regenerative agriculture techniques, dialogue social issues, and experience the quiet and diverse forms of nature. We are not yet fully open to the public yet but we do offer various historical, nature, adventure and fun tours as we work towards being fully open. We offer nature trails, vegan culinary delights, ATV adventure tours, camping experiences, hiking, waterfall adventures and special packages for children and families. Children are central in our vision for transformation and we have several ongoing engagements that engage children in the realms of agriculture, art, sports and education.
