✨️It aims to raise awareness of the importance of recycling and encourage people to take action to reduce waste and protect the environment.

✨️Born in 1994 in the United States, Global Recycling Day takes place every 18th March.

✨️In 2026, the theme is "Don’t Think Waste – Think Opportunity". This theme highlights the critical role of recycling in creating a circular economy, reframing discarded materials as a "Seventh Resource" that drives innovation, economic growth, and saves over 700 million tonnes of emissions annually
