ARTISTS TO BENEFIT FROM COLLABORATION BETWEEN MINISTRIES

The Ministry of Public Administration and Digital Transformation will re-design the website for the Artist Registry of Trinidad and Tobago, and has committed to other ICT interventions for the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts Trinidad & Tobago in the new year, that will improve service delivery across all its portfolios. This cooperative approach was agreed upon at a meeting between the two Ministries and IGovTT, held on Friday December 4, 2020 at the MPADT head office.

Sen. the Hon. Allyson West, Minister of Public Administration and Digital Transformation, and Sen. the Hon. Hassel Bacchus, Minister in the Ministry of Public Administration and Digital Transformation, expressed their gratitude for the approach taken by the Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, the Hon. Randall Mitchell, in bringing his ideas for e-solutions to the Ministry of Public Administration, which has responsibility for the national Digital Agenda. In committing to provide resources for the project, they noted the importance of inclusive, secure, user-friendly solutions.

“In the same way our staff is experiencing challenges on the back-end, members of the public who want to access our services will also be faced with problems. We have to design solutions that are geared towards our customers, both internal and external, and that is what we, and iGovTT pledge to offer,” Minister Bacchus shared.

Imagine the service commission is one of the largest employers in the country but they dont have a facebook account, a Twitter account or an email address to be contacted. I not even going to deal with phones because for sure that is never answered. There is absolutely no way to make contact with the service commission department.
