MESSAGE OF CONGRATULATIONS TO STUDENTS ON THEIR SEA 2026 RESULTS

As the countdown comes to an end, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the thousands of students across Trinidad and Tobago who will receive their Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) results today. This is a significant milestone and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in your lives.

As the clock strikes 11:00 p.m., many of you will take your first step toward new opportunities, new friendships, and new dreams. This journey has required years of hard work, sacrifice, determination, and perseverance. We are proud of all that you have accomplished.

I encourage every student to remember that the school you are placed in today does not determine your future success. Your character, commitment, resilience, and willingness to continue learning will shape the person you become. Believe in yourselves, work diligently, and never allow setbacks to define your potential.

I also extend my sincere appreciation to the teachers, parents, guardians, and every member of the support system who guided and encouraged our students throughout this journey. Your dedication has played an invaluable role in helping them reach this important milestone.

To every parent and guardian: continue supporting, encouraging, and believing in your children regardless of their SEA results. Your love, reassurance, and guidance will help them understand that one examination does not define their worth or determine the limitless potential of their future.

Students, I pray that God continues to bless and guide you as you embark on this new chapter. May He grant you wisdom, courage, and every success in the years ahead.

Congratulations to the SEA Class of 2026. Your future is bright, and I wish you every success.

I completely condemn Kamla Persad-Bissessar's most recent reprehensible attack on the Caribbean Community, and her lazy, childish, and irresponsible posturing on the issue of the reappointment of the Secretary General.

Kamla Persad-Bissessar has demonstrated that she is unfit to continue in the role of Prime Minister of our nation.

Persad-Bissessar must be reminded that CARICOM is the second-largest market for our goods and services, and the regional backlash she is inviting will only hurt the ordinary citizens and workers who are already under extreme pressure due to the policies of her UNC government.
We have had enough.
