The occasion gave our interns an opportunity to showcase the work they completed during their time with us, while sharing some of the experiences and lessons that made their internship meaningful.

We sincerely thank each of them for their dedication, enthusiasm and commitment throughout their time at the Division and we hope that their time with us has contributed meaningfully to their personal and professional development.

As we continue to celebrate Tobagoโ€™s next generation, today we shine the spotlight on six young individuals who spent part of their vacation break gaining valuable experience at the Division of Legal Affairs.

From law and political science to students still exploring the paths ahead of them, each brought their own interests, experiences and aspirations to the Division through the YES Summer Internship Programme, the W.O.W Programme (Division of Youth Empowerment and Sport) and the O.C.S Vacation Employment Programme (Office of the Chief Secretary - THA).

Their journeys may be different, but their messages to other young Tobagonians share a common thread - be persistent, embrace your identity, use your voice, have courage and never give up on your dreams.
