The Department wishes to inform the public that, due to the current low stock of passports, the issuance of travel documents will be strictly limited to the conditions outlined below:

Passports will be issued only under the following circumstances:

β€’ Spouse

Talofa to the public,

Please be informed that starting tomorrow, applicants for a new passport are NOT required to make any payment before completing the passport application form.

βœ… Correct procedure:
1️⃣ Visit the Immigration Office to collect the passport application form
2️⃣ Fill in the form carefully
3️⃣ Return to the office for the form to be checked together with our officers
4️⃣ Once all details are confirmed correct, you will then be advised to proceed with payment

This process is to ensure accuracy and to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.

We humbly request everyone to take good care of your passport and avoid being careless. A passport is a very important legal document, and any loss or damage may cause delays and additional costs.

The Tuvalu Department of Immigration wishes to inform the public of the current passport fee schedules, as outlined below:

πŸ”Ή NORMAL PROCESSING FEES
⏳ Processing time: Up to 2 weeks
β€’ Applicants under 18 years – $60
β€’ Applicants 18 years and above – $80

πŸ”Ή URGENT PROCESSING FEES
⚑ Processing time: 3 working days
β€’ Applicants under 18 years – $100
β€’ Applicants 18 years and above – $150

πŸ”Ή PENALTY FEES
Penalty fees apply for:
β€’ Lost passports (still valid)
β€’ Damaged passports (still valid)
Applicants under 18 years-$120
