📺 Baraza la Masoko ya Mitaji Laendelea Kujitambulisha kwa Umma!

Msajili wa Baraza la Masoko ya Mitaji (CMT), Bw. Martin Kolikoli, alipata fursa ya kipekee ya kushiriki kwenye kipindi maarufu cha Good Morning cha Wasafi Media TV kinachoendeshwa na maafisa habari mahiri Musa, Zembwela na Maulid Kitenge.

Katika mahojiano hayo, Bw. Kolikoli alitambulisha Baraza kwa umma, akielezea:
✅ Majukumu ya Baraza – Kusuluhisha migogoro inayohusu masoko ya mitaji.
✅ Mamlaka ya Baraza – Kutekeleza haki na usawa katika masoko ya mitaji kwa kutumia nguvu za kisheria k**a Mahak**a Kuu.
✅ Dhamira ya Baraza – Kulinda haki za wawekezaji na kuimarisha uwazi na ufanisi wa masoko ya mitaji.

Tunawashukuru Musa, Zembwela, Kitenge, na timu nzima ya Wasafi Media kwa kutupa jukwaa la kuwafikia Watanzania na kuwafahamisha umuhimu wa Baraza katika ukuaji wa masoko ya mitaji na uchumi wa nchi yetu.

📢 Empowering Our Capital Markets Together!

On 19th March 2025, the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) welcomed our Registrar, Mr. Martin Kolikoli, to a special session of the Securities Investment and Trading Course. This event marked a key moment in introducing the Capital Markets Tribunal (CMT) to the course participants.

Mr. Kolikoli provided an insightful overview of the Tribunal, highlighting its:

✅ Functions – Resolving disputes, interpreting regulations, and protecting investor rights
✅ Appeal Procedures – Offering a clear and accessible process for market participants
✅ Stakeholders’ Expectations – Supporting transparency, fairness, and sustainable market growth

On 11th March 2025, the Registrar of the Capital Markets Tribunal (CMT), Martin Kolikoli, paid a courtesy call to the CEO of the Tanganyika Law Society (TLS), Mariam Othman, at the TLS premises. The meeting introduced the Tribunal to TLS as one of its major stakeholders, focusing on collaborative efforts to sensitize the public about the Tribunal’s existence and mandate. This engagement underscores the importance of partnerships in promoting awareness and access to justice in the capital markets and securities sector.

From March 4th to 7th, 2025, the Registrar of the Capital Markets Tribunal attended the Board Secretary Course organized by the Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT) at Gran Melia, Arusha. This transformative program delved into critical corporate governance issues, including board composition, independence, and the pivotal role of board secretaries in enhancing organizational performance.

The insights gained from this program will significantly contribute to the Tribunal’s ability to execute its legal mandates with greater transparency, accountability, and effectiveness. By aligning with best practices in governance, the Tribunal aims to foster trust and confidence in Tanzania’s capital markets sector.

Participation in such capacity-building initiatives underscores the commitment to continuous learning and leadership excellence in promoting sound corporate governance across all institutions.
