Mahale Mountains National Park

Mahale Mountains National Park Located along the eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, 128km south of Kigoma town, contains Tanzania's largest protected population of chimpanzee.

One group of around 60 individuals has become well accustomed to human visitors.
