John Dingell Jr, who has since passed away 3 years ago, served for a total of 59 years in the United States Congress. He started all the way back in 1955, which was during The Civil Rights era.

Our Congressmen and women should not have the ability to serve this long.

Senator Chuck Grassley has been actively serving in Congress for over 47 years! Clearly, this is too long for one person in Congress. A presidential limit is 8 years or two terms. Why are our congressional leaders allowed in office for their entire lives?
