H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni fulfills part of the pledges to the community of Amuru District.
Delivering these wasthe Minister for Northern Uganda Kwercwing Grace Freedom at the district Multipurpose Hall.
LCV Hon Michael Lakony, RDC Jalmoro Bilak and CAO Kiplangat Martin represented the entire community to reach the pledges.

Fulfillment of Presidential Pledge to Amuru Community.
" we are very happy to have you in Amuru for your very first time" echoed the LCV Hon Michael Lakony has he welcomed the Minister of Northern Uganda and her team.

"Your name alone has already given us hope that the best is to come, Kwercwiny Grace Freedom. All those names speak a lot interms of its meanings

Hon Lakony made this statement in his speech has he welcomed the Minister who was on the presidential mission to fulfill the pledges he made to the community of Amuru during his campaign trails and Presidential Missions in Amuru.

A total of 9 groups became benefactors of the presidents pledge.
1: Bibia Chapel Church Atiak, St John Chapel Amuru, St joseph COU pabbo and Lamogi Mosque all recieved 100 pieces of Iron sheet each.
2: keyo Quarry and Pekoyo Women Group both recieved Cassava Chippers.
3: Amuru Christ the King Church recieved a Motorcycle which was handed over to Father Samuel
4: Women of Amuru recieved 20 sewing Machine while
5: Women and Youth Group recieved 50 Ox ploughs.

The Minister at all ends didnt deviate from what the Chairperson has said.

" the Governmemt is ready in its capacity to uplift the stardard of lifes of the people. If these tools are used with for the rightful purpose and intention then there shall be some change amongst these groups.

The Akuna Muceejo 2016 slogan shall be put to full force. Anyone who shall vandalize these property will be dealt with and anyone who is abusing these should not be covered by the community but exposed out.

She also encouraged the people to embrace the different Government programs and support the gouevvrnment towards fighting corruption.

Hon. Grace also thanked Hon Lakony and the entire district political leadership for being non partizant and she said that is the only way the district can develope.

Yet another great loss. Before we LAY Our brother and friend the fallen Gen. Dr Julius Oketta, death has again knocked at our door and reaped off another Dr Abongomera the Chairperson DSC who passed away this great day Monday. A great shock to wake up peacefully and be flashed with sad news. We shall forever miss him. All these great men come from Amuru District and from Pabbo Subcounty. You shall all be tainted in our hearts till the day we meet you again.

It's works and not words any more. Rehabilitation of major deep borehole at Pabo subcounty. Thanks to the promising works, monitoring by the CAO KIplangat Martin, Water officer payolem Robinson, lapolo Robert, I the DIO and offcourse the community of Pabo for embracing government programs and helping us serve them best

What a day it was in Amuru. Incoming CAO Martin recieving handover report from outgoing CAO Martine who also took over office from Martin. Amuru so far the only district in Uganda who have had THREE CAOs called By the name Martine. Can someone challenge me on this.

Thanks to all staff and family Amuru for their prayer at the time I was down with my intestinal problems and typhoid. I feeling a lot better because you all remembered me in trying moments with your prayers. Kay you all receive the abundant blessings from the most high. Come tomorrow I shall rise with new eternal energy filled with a hope that shall be still but deep like the ocean. I love you all. Best wishes 2016 a year to redeem and strengthen our manpower. We as a district shall listen to you most when you even least expect us.
