POLITICAL STATUS IN UGANDA TODAY. .

The president heads cabinet, an arm of government after Swearing in. He is the only Confirmed member of the 2026-2031 cabinet as of present, with powers to appoint new members.

The Judiciary, a second arm of government is intact. Led by the Chief Justice and without subject to elections, the whole arm is operational.

The Legislature.. Heavens know who is becoming the next speaker, after the former speaker being subjected to scrutiny.. All Members of the 12th Parliament have sofar been sworn in and await to begin business. They're a flock without a shepherd right now, rendering them vulnerable to any predators...

So, who controls the country now???
