H.E. Amb. Antipas Nyok Kucha, South Sudan Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC), today received an Honorary Membership Card of the SPLM Uganda Chapter.

The Chairperson of the SPLM Uganda Chapter, Cde. Dhieu Simon Chol, commended Cde. Antipas for his unwavering loyalty, commitment, and dedicated service to the SPLM. He played a significant role in the establishment of the SPLM Uganda Chapter in 1998, when he served as the first Director for External Solidarity and Liberation Movement in the SPLM first General Secretariat. He was also responsible for training political cadres under the leadership of Cde. James Wani Igga, the first SPLM Secretary-General (1998–2005).

The Chapter recognizes and appreciates his distinguished leadership, loyalty, and continued dedication to the Movement.

SPLM Membership Registration – Northern Uganda Region

Cde. Maan Gaker Dier, the Chief Coordinator of the SPLM Uganda Chapter for the Northern Uganda Region, has today received the membership registration booklet to commence the registration exercise in the region as our country prepares for the 22 December 2026 General Elections.

The SPLM Uganda Chapter leadership urges all members residing in Northern Uganda to register at the SPLM Regional Office in Gulu.

It is with profound sorrow that the leadership of SPLM Chapter Uganda has received the heartbreaking news of the tragic passing of the beloved brother of Cde. Prince Mark Zaza, the SPLM Chapter Uganda Secretary for Political Mobilisation and the Chairperson of the Registration and Verification Committee, who was fatally shot in Juba this morning.

On behalf of the entire leadership and members of SPLM Chapter Uganda, I extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to Cde. Prince Mark Zaza, his family, relatives, friends, and loved ones during this painful and difficult time.

As a Chapter, we stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and share in their grief. We pray that the Almighty God grants them strength, comfort, and courage to bear this great loss.

We pray to almighty God,that He forgives the sins of the departed and grants him eternal peace in His heavenly kingdom.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

We encourage all SPLM members and supporters across the country to come forward and validate their membership as we prepare for the December General Elections under the visionary leadership of H.E. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, Chairman of the SPLM and President of the Republic of South Sudan.
